Casio Cuts the cost of LampFree
In January of 2016, Casio announced a redesign to its products and lineup. The result was both an improvement in image quality and a reduction in price. The products were released in May.
Advanced Series Projectors
Released in May of 2016, the Advanced Series projector features full connectivity, a two HDMI inputs and a dramatically reduced price. Their 6th generation light engine uses less than 1/3 the number of lasers, yet the brightness and contrast outpace previous products. Wireless is now optional – meaning you don’t pay for it unless you need it.
Core Series Projectors
A sister product to the Advanced Series, Casio has further reduced the price by trimming down the inputs for those who don’t need extra connectivity. These projectors have a single HDMI, VGA and Audio Loop Through only. Why pay for all those connections if this is all you need?
Ultra Short Throw Projector
Casio’s Ultra Short throw XJ-UT310WN is a 3100 lumen WXGA featuring a .28:1 lens. Outstanding as a replacement in an interactive environment where lamp changes are a costly inconvenience.
Slim Series Projectors
Casio’s Slim Series continues to be a top-rated portable projector. It’s slim design makes it easy to transport in a thin case, perhaps along with your laptop. And the 2X zoom lens makes it exceptionally versatile in a variety of environments.
